Just an amazing tour of Lower Manhattan. The staff were very friendly and informative. We had a great time seeing the big city from the water. The tour that we took went all the way around the tip of Manhattan and then up the East River under the Brooklyn Bridge. The sights were just spectacular. I would definitely recommend going on this boat tour if you are in New York.
Absolutely fantastic and the tour guide David is a font of knowledge that will provide everyone with an in depth insight into the early history of New York (New Amsterdam)as well as current developments. He can pretty much tell you everything about the Statue of Liberty as well from his time spent there. Definitely recommend and especially the night tour is spectacular if it is a clear sky to view the skyline.
We did the city lights harbor tour and it was pretty sweet. It was a nice night in NY, not really foggy, so we could see everything. David was the host and did a good job at explaining what we were seeing and having a personality as well. They serve booze and drinks as well. I'd say it's worth checking out for a touristy thing to do.
We took the cruise that went to the Statue of Liberty, did a 180 and came back. It was a perfect way to see the Statue of Liberty and to get great skyline views. It only took 60 minutes which was perfect! Our guide was Andy and he was great! He gave us lots of facts and had fun along the way.
Took the Harbor Lights Cruise, which claims to be a romantic evening/night time cruise but the vast majority of the passengers were families with screaming kids and zero understanding of personal space. Should have an age restriction on this cruise or make is adults only as it was the farthest thing from romantic that i can imagine! Windows downstairs were absolutely filthy too. Tour guide was wonderful though, older well spoken gentleman, the only good thing about the cruise.
