  • Great service and terrific food. Simple and minimalist decor in a classic diner setting. The pork shoulder was perfect!

  • Expect to wait 20 minutes before a waiter and comes by to welcome you. Honestly sat down and saw someone order And get their food before I even had the server come by. What the most annoying part was 3 servers were sitting at the table next to me talking and laughing. The food was exceptional but it wasn’t good enough to walk out feeling like overall it deserves better than 2 stars.

  • The O.G. Brooklyn dining experience, Diner is a showstopper. While Diner is known better for their meat dishes, personally, I think their vegetables shine. With a menu that changes every day, you can rarely go wrong.

  • This is one of those hipster joints that thinks they are being cool by giving you overpriced, yet average quality food. What they are doing is wrong, they don't show you the prices of the food, because if you saw them, you would instantly leave. Everything is overly rustic. The food is decent, but nothing more, yet the prices are those of a gourmet restaurant. I chose to get the cheeseburger, which was nothing special at all. You can get a better burger at "Five Guys," or "Bobby Flay's Burger Palace," which are chain restaurants run by corporations. I would give this negative stars if I could, but unfortunately I can't.

  • They sit down with you and explain the menu to you since they change it daily. They write some of it in the table place mat, no prices listed. Ended up being a $50 brunch with no drinks. Everything was great. Got toast on the side (five whole dollars though) seemed home baked, comes with a homemade butter and preserves. It was really good (but $5!?) Diner set up. They accept credit cards.
