I had a blast! I went with my two roommates, and the three of us have a keen appreciation for both theater and drinking, and we were delighted to get to watch talented actors have a great time with the Bard's material and also tequila shots. Without giving anything else away, I recommend that if this sounds at all interesting to you, GO! You won't be disappointed.
Hilarious 😂. A very casual setting - cosy and you are in the midst of the action. The audience interaction adds to your enjoyment. Talented cast and you will have a memorable evening. The only downside was that while I could purchase tickets online readily through the Rush website, it was impossible to book our preferred performance online. Luckily we were staying only a few blocks away and I popped into the venue the prior evening to present my Rush vouchers and confirm our booking for the following evening. I don't know if the problem lies with Rush or with the venue's booking system - I suspect the latter.
100% worth the ticket price . Amazing show. Will be headed back again. Edit: I went back again with a new crew, was just as good the second time.
One of the actors (Whit) kept picking on me in a way unrelated to the show, and put a serious damp on the experience. It wasn't even unprofessional, it was dickish. At the same time, it was an hilarious show, it was fun and upbeat, and I enjoyed just about every piece of it (aside from this one actor's behavior). I would highly recommend, as the experience is unique and the actors are extremely well prepared.
It was a lot of fun! You can see where things are going when you do a shot (of a mixed drink) when you walk in the door. Overall, the cast was friendly, entertaining, and approachable throughout. The drinks were good and the venue felt right for such a non traditional show.
