  • I went here the other night (a Monday) because it's walkable to my new place. I loved it! It felt like a mix between a dive and just an eclectic arty place. I loved the decor and the twinkly lights strung about. I was starving so I ordered a burger- medium well- off the smallish menu. It was actually surprisingly juicy and flavorful, and definitely worth the $9.50 that it cost. The beer prices are reasonable but not super cheap. But what really made the experience was the completely random mix of live music. I could have done without two of the bands, but one was amazing! Either way, it was an enjoyable evening- we ended up spending 5 hours there, haha.

  • If your a local or Just visiting New York, and wanna take a night off from the busy streets. Just have drinks, and watch some free Local talents, this would be the place! the atmosphere is pretty dope, the owner is so nice... hell everyone there was nice. and I came there during their open mic so I experienced to see some local New York talents! and the COFFEE IS GOOD!

  • The staff is friendly! And the decorations are amazing. The bands playing on stage can be hit or miss - you never know who is going to show up. Sometimes incredibly good, sometimes earplug-worthy. But it is the philosophy of the place to let whoever wants perform. The french fries are great and the beer is cheap!!! $3 PBR draughts, a great and refreshing deal.

  • Eccentric little cover free bar with decent prices, good food, great entertainment, two stages and a large back patio. Tuesday night Teacup is usually a busy and entertaining evening. Highly recommend GBM.

  • I went to see some of my friends play in a rock show at Goodbye Blue Monday. There was hardly anyone there because it's sort of underground. I was able to enjoy the show without too much craziness. Deep in Bushwick.
