Jacques Torres Chocolate Reviews & Ratings
I didn’t know one scoop of ice cream would be the size of a golf ball. I bought two one scoop cones for ten dollars. Definitely not worth the money, which is unfortunate because the ice cream itself was good. The woman scooping the ice cream barely put any sprinkles and when she scooped the ice cream cream she proceeded to take some ice cream out of the scooper. I have had better ice cream that’s worth the price at other places. The customers standing before us had to order a single, then a double, then a triple just to share it with their daughter because the woman scooping ice cream scooped small golf ball sized scoops that were already melted. Very disappointed in this experience.
Terrific place to get good chocolates and ice cream. They have a nice selection of flavors of sorbets as well. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.
The chocolate chip cookies at Jacques Torres Chocolate are the best that I ever tasted. The cookies are so delicious and they will even warm them up for you. When I eating gluten free they also have scrumptious gluten free cookie. The people who work at Jacques Torres Chocolate are also very nice and it always a pleasure to stop by.
Omg.. Must Visit if you like Chocolate!
It's a great, higher end chocolate place with tons of gift ideas and goodies. I will say I was not thrilled with their hot chocolate. I expected richer and it just fell short. There are much better chocolate shops in NYC- visit those instead. :)
