McSorley's Old Ale House is a bar located in the East Village of New York City. Established in 1854, this is one of New York’s oldest operational pubs. Author Joseph Mitchell described the ale here as “A rich, wax-colour.” Like a typical New Yorker likes it, the ale here is half-full beers and sleeves of saltines. The place is comfortable, cosy, and intimate and will make you fall in love with New York a little bit more.
