  • Next to Heaven This is indeed one the best Italians ever. Not only food is fantastic and flavor authentic but personnel is super friendly, helpful and effective. Damien, in addition to bartending took care of me with nice suggestions and prompt service. Beer, wine and food all authentic and absolutely delicious. Finally, place is cozy and beautiful.

  • We had no reservations but we were welcomed anyway. After a few minutes of waiting in an awkward spot and feeling "in the way" we were seated across the kitchen where the food came out and at the smallest table in NYC. My back was facing the kitchen with the walking path between us. There was so much traffic and bumping into me, it was ridiculous. Our waiter was very knowledgeable of the menu and the very impressive wine list. We ordered still and sparkling water and appetizers to begin our night. The waters came in big bottles which took over our little table that had a lit candle on it, which gave it ambiance. Bread came out with olive oil for dipping. Our calamari and mussels appetizers tasted very good, which excited us for the main course. I had the Grouper special, which was not special but tasteless and bland. My guest had the Ravioli di Ricotta which we didn't like at all. Very underwhelming, very disappointing. The prices are very high, for what you're getting. We left and ordered great Pizza that night, cause we were hungry.

  • Second time coming here & will come here every trip to NYC. I had the linguine di Mare and the seafood was cooked perfectly. The red sauce has a little kick to it which is great. Great wine selection.

  • Treated like second class citizens. We walked in, weren’t greeted nicely, when we were finally seated, they took more than 10 minutes to even acknowledge our presence. We seen each waiter and they constantly looked past our table as if we weren’t worthy of their service. When we finally got a waiter, he disrespected my father by telling him prices of dishes out loud as if he was warning us of their caliber. Then in the middle of me asking him questions about dishes, he left and went to serve another table after already receiving one order from the party. He didn’t look back or come back right away, it was blatant what he felt about my party of people. We are not loud and obnoxious, we were very respectful to their restaurant and were treated like dirt. Wouldn’t recommend anyone to spend money with these types of people. Everyone should be treated with respect, no matter what race, or background, and if I could give 0 Stars, I absolutely would.

  • Had an amazing experience here on the weekend of St.Patricks day! Dinner was absolutely fantastic and the staff were so kind and helpful! Came over from Ireland and we've recommended this place to everyone that's going over to NYC! Better food than our many trips to Italy! Can't wait to visit again
