Nathan's Famous Gift Shop Reviews & Ratings
I love Nathan's but the food was over-salted yesterday. Cashier, friendly and accommodating. Asst. manager had to over-ride my order from a large soda to a medium. I thanked her- no response. Sirloin burger was very good, but slaty. Cheese fries were way too salty. To the point where the salt was the dominant flavor. I guess that is why there aren't any salt shakers. They salt for you, and boy do they ever! Three ketchup dispensers, one worked(barely)! Burger, cheese fries, and med soda- $15+ w/Tax. Nathan's on the boardwalk itself.
Cool experience, great staff. Not the best I’ve had but it’s Famous of course.. great prices on beer.
One of the most busiest Nathans in New York City in adjacent to the other Nathan's that's on Surf Avenue. The food itself isn't that much of quality but it will get you through the day for the price of where it's at. There are other Nathans famous all over New York City but this one seems to be that the busiest during the summer time. But on the winter times it is closed. Make sure the check the times before you visit this venue
The food is good but the lines are too long and everything is too expensive. If it weren't for that it may have gotten 4 stars. They also need to maintain the condiment/napkins area better. I know it's Coney Island and there are tourists/visitors but no need to be overpriced. Bring it down just a notch. Otherwise, it's Nathan's Famous. Amazing dogs and other food.
I waited more than half an hour under scorching sun just to taste the original hot dog which is good but not worth the effort, there's another store a few blocks that seems larger and may be quicker. Beware, too long and strenuous for a above average hot dog which by the way is on the small size, no wonder the eating contest can gulp so many.
