New York Botanical Garden, New York City Reviews
Awesome place to enjoy a true gem nestled in the big city. It has miles of places to walk, explore and enjoy. The holiday train show is probably the best time to visit to see all of the beautiful and creative landmarks that have been reproduced. If you love trains — and who doesn’t love model trains — you are in for a treat! The work done to recreate the city’s landmarks is impressive in every way! Definitely worth a visit!
Set aside a day in the weekend with nice weather and take a hike in this amazing place. I highly recommend first timers pay for the full pass. Take the driven tour around the area and plan your hike at the end of the 30 min tour. To take full advantage of what this place has to offer, I highly recommend a mid to late spring visit before the weather gets warm and the flowers are in full bloom everywhere. They have year long activities but this place really shines when everything is in full bloom.
Went for the ALOHA NIGHTS Event there. Huge area. Gorgeous floral experience. Enchanting atmosphere when visiting the conservatory. Adorable small wildlife (saw a hummingbird and other various birds and some bunnies hopping around the fields) Felt like I was somewhere else.. like out of a storybook. It was magical! Very educational. Excellent staff and customer service. Clean. Benches everywhere to take it all in and rest. Beautiful Bronx treasure. Can't wait to go again. So worth it!
Clean, rolling garden space with seasonal attractions, including a children's garden. The holiday train show in Detroit is great for all ages. The Thomas the Train show in January is great for kids. The conservatory can be tight but the displays are engaging. Food and drink is very expensive. Definitely get the membership if you plan to revisit.
Outstanding It is better than ever. Lovely, interesting Hawaiian plants in Enid Haupt conservatory Saw Hawaiian dance and singing performance in front; charming. Hudson Grill is a lovely place for lunch. Upscale, good menu. Noshes, tomato band buffalo, and gnocchi are excellent. Crab cake, not a lot of flavor, disappointing. Highly recommended
