Raclette, New York City Reviews - Write a Review
My experience here was pretty average. The cheese was only highlight for me in terms of food. My steak was dry and vegetables didn't taste good either. On the brighter side, it's a nice, cozy restaurant with a bar, servers are really nice. Note: Reservation doesn't mean anything at this place. We reserved table at 8, but was seated at 8:30.
I wanted to go there for a long time...The place is pretty small and you better reserved especially if you go with a lot of people. The service is ok but a bit slow which is a problem because it seems the place is full all the time. But when the food comes you forget about all of this...it was just incredibly delicious, that cheese and the way they pour it on your plate is just amazing. You want a taste of Europe in NYC? Go there! They should open a bigger place i can guarantee them a massive success.
There are places you go to eat and than there are places where you just fall in love with, this is that spot. Submit to the pleasure of this establishments fine food, it will not only leave you speechless from the amount of food your gonna eat but it will test your addictive personality. The melted cheese scraped off with the charred edges is to die for, gotta go back soon. My compliments to the chef. I'm already craving it and can't wait to return for more. I look forward to tasting the entire menu.
The cheese experience is the best part, and you definitely pay for it. The burger could have been a bit more juicy as it was kind of dry. We got maybe 10 or 15 sweet potato fries that came along with the burger. Very small portions.
the cheese is good... only the cheese... hamburger was normal and sweet fries potato was cold and cooked much time before our arrive... and wasn't fresg...we booked the table but we waited for 20 minutes outside. another couple who went after us was served before... first and only time
