The Strawberry Fields is a part of Central Park in New York City, dedicated to the former Beatles member - John Lennon. It is a landscape section, occupying an area of 2.5 acres. A circular pathway mosaic with the word ‘Imagine’, which was one of Lennon’s famous songs, is the focal point of the memorial. It is surrounded by a floral border and its entrance can be found on Central Park West at West 72nd Street, near to John Lennon’s home where he was murdered outside. Visit the Strawberry Fields and you can pay homage to this great English singer and songwriter.
