About Studio 54, New York City

If you want to visit a place which was as thriving as it is today even in the olden times, then Studio 54 is a perfect option for you. It opened in the year 1927 and was quite popular from the year 1977 to 1981. Made by Eugene De Roza, this place has a lovely and vibrant atmosphere and is a great place to have a good time with friends and your loved ones. The drinks here are quite lovely and is basically a great option to chill if you are looking at just spending a good time during the day.

  • Nice place but don't expect much leg room. I went to see Latin History for Morons. I enjoyed the show but I could NOT wait to get out of my seat. I am 5' 7 and NY knees were touching the back of the seat from the row in front of me. As I laughed my shoulders rubbed up the stranger next to me. The most uncomfortable experience ever. I had no circulation in my legs for almost 2 hrs.

  • Glad to see the original deco architect & disco ball! Theater seats are tight, but good view of the stage. Drinks at the bar are heavily priced, but there are plenty of great bars/lounges surrounding Studio 54.

  • Not a huge theater but feels spacious enough, ushers make it easy to find seats felt like a smooth process. I disliked that there weren't restrooms on the first floor so orchestra guests are obligated to go upstairs is they need facilities. Overall not a bad experience. I came for Latin History for Morons. John Leguizamo did great with this one!

  • Legendary spot and incredible shows but you'd think for $275 seats, you'd get some heat. The place was freezing inside. I'm only going in the spring or summertime because that cold was redicuous... This was second row upfront seats. Oh well thank goodness the show was great...

  • Really loved this place! Went to see the play "Sweat" which was great! The whole place is elegant and has a Cosy vibe. You can buy drinks and snacks at the bar by the entrance and take them with to your seat which is great! The staff was friendly and the facilities in were well kept and clean. Cool spot for an evening out!
