Yankee Stadium Reviews & Ratings
The stadium should of had a retractable roof. Very cold when it rains and while you are ordering food there's no cover, you will get wet. Money flew a way as I was about to pay. Only warm place is the bathroom. If you have VIP status then u can watch the game in a warm restaurant. The Summer time is the best place for a game.
Yankee Stadium is, in my opinion, the best place to see a baseball game. The history of past teams, the current team and their success... you just can't beat it. There are countless ways to access the stadium, from driving to buses and subways. And once you arr there it is just very enjoyable. The staff is courteous and helpful. I just took my nine-year-old daughter and she enjoyed it just as much as I did.
Disclaimer: I wasn’t rooting for the Yankees... however I really enjoyed the excitement and the passion the fans had for their team. The stadium was great. We were sitting in the “cheap seats” in the 400s and I still felt we had a great view. There were plenty of food options. My son and his friend devoured a couple buckets of popcorn. I ended up ordering a black bean burger on a whim and it was excellent. Only downside is the traffic... but this is New York so no surprise there :)
All I have to say is that it would be really nice if after 81 regular season games to work out the kinks, Yankee stadium could 1. Get you into the stadium without having to miss two innings of the game because the lines move so slow, and 2. serve food fast enough that you don't miss two innings of the game waiting in line, because the lines move too slow!
Yankee stadium is one of my favorite places on Earth. There may be bigger ball parks with fancier toys but none have captured the blend of new and classic quite like the cathedral. If you like baseball definitely put this on your bucket list!
