New Amsterdam Theatre - Review
One of the best venues to catch up on New York’s famed performance art’s scene, the New Amsterdam Theatre is a patent on many lists of best things to do in New York for art lovers. The decor is royal and beautifully dramatic, enhancing your experience here. Essentially a Broadway theatre, this attraction was built during the years 1902-1903. The highlights of the theatre, apart from its theatre performances, are the incredible Art Nouveau interiors along with stunning Beaux-Arts exteriors. The building’s historic significance is strengthened by the fact that it is counted among the National Register of Historic Places since 1980! The Aladdin show is one of the most popular shows to watch at the New Amsterdam Theatre.

New Amsterdam Theatre, New York City Reviews
We saw Aladdin and what a fun show! Nothing but fun! I could not stop smiling! The front of the theatre is on 42nd St. There is three tiers. I sat in the orchestra section but I have no doubt that seeing that show from the second or third tier is just as great with everything that is going on stage. The ceiling is beautiful and the side boxes are carved out just as beautiful. Definitely a great place to see a show!
Gorgeous theater and great show, we saw Aladdin. Doesn't look like there is a bad seat in the house. Ushers were super nice and self serve cushions were available for my young kids to get a boost in their seats. Only issue was restrooms, can't speak for the womens but the men's has a few urinals and only one stall. Other than that the location is excellent and easy to get to.
Beautiful theater. The lower level is a must see. A less visited area with seating and an unbelievable ceiling. Seats are comfortable and good views from everywhere. Great spot to see a show with kids. Easy to get to by train or walking.
Enjoyed the ambiance of the place. Did not like the bathroom situation(too crowded). I did love the Aladdin show that was on that day. You can see the entire show from where ever you sit at. Did not miss one thing from the show. I will be back to see a show there again soon.
Went to the New Amsterdam to see the Broadway show Aladdin.. it was fantastic, even up in the top balcony. Tickets are well worth it. All staff were very courteous and helpful. Facilities are top notch.
