The building used to be an army drill hall. In 1981 it was reopened, and now has about 4000 sq feet of space that is filled up with a bar, a lounge, a buffet, and 25 classic vehicles, both modern and vintage. Today, it’s a popular meeting place for car collectors and enthusiasts. It’s not the best car museum in the world. But what it’s very good at creating is the mood, a community fever. You’ll usually find someone, owner or regular visitor, who’s happy to give you a tour of the place. They’ll keep you yakking about cars for hours on end.
