Hanging Rock Reserve (woodend) Reviews & Ratings
This is a really good place for meditation and also for hiking beginners as it very easy trail. The entrance fee is 10$ per car and they have many parking lots. They are very nice views from the top. There are two paths for the top, one is a ramp up and the second is steps. I would recommend that you go up through the ramp and get dawn using the steps.
Ah! Visited this place a year ago but I still remember how much we enjoyed it. If you are new to Melbourne or just did not get to see much around, do visit this place. One of the tourist attractions. I am sure you will like it!!
A reasonable trekking to reach the top of hanging rocks.. you get a beautiful 360 degree scenic view of the green landscape around the place.. achievable by every one, have a nice cafe near to the parking area
Great scenery! Have to stop by at this monument and go for a hike! 45 minutes out of Melbourne being a great spot to explore the nature and quietness. You get to see all different types of rock shapes that hang over each other! Recommend!
A beautiful place and good for light hiking. Tracks are well maintained and it's just a bit over an hour drive from Melbourne. Found this gem accidentally when looking for tourists attractions near Melbourne. It has few BBQ spots and a playground for kids. There is ample parking for $10 per vehicle.
