True to its name, the Inspiration Point is a lookout point that has the best views of the ocean and the pier in Newport Beach. The area has benches that face the open pacific ocean and with the green grass to pamper your feet, the place has become one of the most understated yet gorgeous places around the city. A small stairway leads you down to the beach from the edge of the cliff where the lookout point is while the viewpoint itself is apt for having a picnic, taking a stroll, clicking photographs or simply for having a seat on one of the benches to admire the view of the coast. You can also spot luxury homes lining the beach, a beautiful pier and tall palm trees that complete the scene.
Sunsets bask the whole place into its warm light and after dark this point becomes rather tranquil and romantic with very few people around. With its landscape, the inspiration point does leave you feeling rather inspired and at ease!

Inspiration Point Reviews & Ratings
Fun place to take the kids. And this place they have many great restaurants and a ton to do. They have electric boats you can rent by the hour or by the month. Pretty impressive. The remodel they did on this shopping center is extremely impressive. They have yoga nights on the boardwalk. Zumba nights on the boardwalk. Going to the shopping center really feels like a true vacation. It’s funny you can go someplace so close to home spend a couple hours and feel like you were very far away. Everyone should come to Check out this new remodel and hang out in the festivities they have going on. They have many markets set up selling food and produce during the week. The gym here in the shopping center is awesome also. Hopefully the locals take advantage of this place.
Beautiful spot! The hill is pretty steep, so tread carefully, especially those who may have bad legs or anything. The walk back up is pretty daunting for those of us not in the best shape of our lives. Lol it goes all the way down to the beach, and the lookout point is about halfway down. There are benches to sit and just take in the view and sounds of the ocean. Very tranquil. The homes along the cliffs are beautiful. There is a neat seal statue on the rocks below. It was a fun little surprise to see.
The best spot in the area for a sunset. The beach is awesome. There's rocks that are easily walked across for some great views of the waves crashing into the boulders. Definitely a spot worth visiting.
One of the better views I had the opportunity to soak in during my short visit to the Orange County area. Mildly busy during the weekend but still plenty of space to sit down and enjoy the sunset without feeling overly crowded. Definitely will be returning to this quiet residentially-located viewing area should I return to the area anytime soon.
Surprising view. Unexpected finding. Gave me a great relaxation. True inspirational point.
