Founded in 1972 with the aim to provide education through interactive and hands-on mediums, the Environmental Nature Center offers fun field trips, high school programs, nature camps and a range of activities for children of all ages. The best part about the place is that they offer a variety of opportunities without restricting children to textbook learning.
The scouts and teachers make the entire experience interesting and the sheer lush-green area of 5 acres is a wonderful change from the conventional idea of learning in a standard schools. The place offers reading sessions in the woods, tours that enhance observational skills, community skills and help to understand the working of water purification, preservation of wildlife and flora and also to learn scientific theories by experience. In a way, the centre promotes holistic living in sync with what nature has to offer and even if you spend a few hours here, you are sure to walk out feeling a little more smarter and a lot more appreciative of our natural surroundings.

Environmental Nature Center Reviews & Ratings
I love this place and now they also have an amazing Preschool. The staff are fantastic and you're child will love it here. It's a gem!
Myself and my kids ages 6 to 12 loved it. Lovely forest area with stream (my kids could have spent all day saying pooh sticks or any other game) and mini museum with lots of little thing yo learn. Plus the butterfly farm, also small but with sweet butterfly coming to greet you. So happy we went yo thus hidden paradise.
I went to camp here my entire childhood during summer and then volunteered for a few years too. It's a beautiful place with great people who really care about the camp and those who visit. My passion for biology and love of nature definitely started here. Great for summer camp or just a little walk through the trails. My young cousins really liked coming here too.
I've loved this place since I was a child. It's a wonderful environment for children to learn about nature and conservation.
This is a nice relaxing place to visit. However, volunteers should be there on time to open the door if the business hours clearly says open at 8 am. My family from overseas just trying to visit this place. The door was not opened till 9:30am.
