Formerly known as McFadden’s Wharf, the Newport Beach Pier offers stunning views of the Huttington Beach, Balboa Pier and the vast Pacific Ocean. The pier is 314.5 meters long and is currently a California Heritage Landmark.
You can find a fleet of Dory boats docked here by the Dory fishermen after a long day of fishing. Angling is a favoured activity at the pier and you can often see locals with a fishing rod waiting to catch some fresh fish. The pier also has a program for training lifeguards.
At the end of the pier is the famous Newport Pier Grill and Sushi restaurant that has an outdoor patio and is perfect for a romantic dinner with you love ones. The view of the sunset is breath-taking and along with the laid back atmosphere of the place and the tranquil views, you are lost in simpler times. When in Newport, come here to see the view of the Pacific ocean, click some surreal photographs or simply to take a serene walk during sunset and early mornings.
