Founded in 1996, Woodside High school has often been listed as one of the top high schools in the country. With a twin school, Heritage High School, both are often considered friendly rivals too! This high school is known to have the Newport News Public School's Center for the Arts and Communications Magnet Program as an integral part of their system. Through it, students are given an opportunity to pursue activities like drama, dance, creative writing, music and more.
