  • Local. Nice people. Nice presentation. See you in October!

  • Better than expected. we got there around 8:45. Stood in line for over an hour, which is to be expected. They had a DJ, food, bonfires, and other activities going on which was a really nice touch. Parking was $5, not a bad price, but you already make so much money off the ticket sales, so I thought that was a bit unfair. Hayride: the hayride was one of my favorite ones I’ve been to in years. Considering how busy it was, the actors all did a great job. Not sure what the bad reviews were about. Michael Myers was so cool to see in a hayride. My girlfriend and I also loved the toy box and the zombie graveyard! The two zombies that come out first had us both scared and laughing at the same time, so kudos to them. A great dynamic between the two. The guy in the toy box that talks is outstanding, it seems so natural to him. And the circus freaks!! What an interesting concept. We loved it!! Scary Tales: What a show! My girlfriend liked this one more than I did, but it was still very impressive and admittedly- scary! The mad hatter is crazy!! Every actor in there gives it their all. Just wish it was a little bit longer. Zombie Paintball: I understand the appeal of this one but it just wasn’t for me. Kind of disappointing but maybe they were short staffed or didn’t have enough supplies. Wouldn’t recommend but I’d give it another shot on a better night. Overall I’d say that I would come back again, even if just for the hayride. I am seriously impressed for the quality of work shown compared to what they have to work with!! See you next year!

  • Right from the gate I had a bad experience. The lady cashier gave me a hard time due to my cash check card. She claim there wasn't any signature on the back of my card and that I had to go all the way back to my car to get two proofs of identification. She told me how she can lose her job and a big long story about why she needs all of this information. I believed her and went all the way back to my car understanding that the company needed proof of identification, I was not upset. However when I reached my car and went to sign the back of my card and get a second proof of identification when I saw that my card was already signed. I became very upset because I walked all the way back to my car which was far away from the ticket booth just because a lady couldn't see that my card was signed already. When I returned I told the lady that I had already signed the back of my card and that I was not happy that I had to walk all the way back to my car because she didn't see that it was signed. She was very nasty and said that she was right about what she did. When I asked to talk to someone regarding the situation they also didn't listen to what happened and quickly turned it around to saying that they want to keep the card and things safe. I did understand that but I wasn't upset about that, I was upset because the lady didn't see my card was signed and I had to walk all the way back to my car only to find that I wasted time and had to get out of line with my family because she couldn't see. As a cashier you cannot mess up those kind of transactions and not apologize ,when you're in customer service. That was an inconvenience for the customer. Long story short, bring two forms of identification if you are paying with a check card. Also get a fast pass, because the normal lines go very slow. I have been to many of these haunted attractions and never have been upset in my waiting time. Granted, the lines can take a long time very understandable, but without the VIP tickets it can be miserable at Valley Of Fear. We were waiting in line for a long time when 3 groups of VIP went in front of us and there's only like a three or four dollar difference. People started to become upset in line and it affected the rest of the trip. However the attractions were not that interesting , the hayride was okay but not the best. Actors were good that's about it. They didn't have really much to work with like not to many chainsaws and other props. Some of the ground staff seemed annoyed and not happy. Hey I understand it's cold and dark but this is your job you chose. You can't showcase a bad attitude when you're trying to make it fun for people. It definitely takes away from the experience. In all for my first time I didn't have such a good experience at the Valley Of Fear and I hope this information is helpful to future customers. To top it all off you have to pay for parking.

  • Every year there is something new to see. Always a great time! One of the best haunted attractions in Pa! Great music, the escape houses were pretty cool, the hayride you get to hang your legs off of the side which I have never seen anywhere else. The facility is intense and loaded with zombies. Scary Tales, my personal favorite! Demented fairy tales in the woods!! They never disappoint!

  • Had an absolutely horrible experience at Valley of Fear last Saturday 10/13/18. I got there around 8:30pm and didn’t get out until midnight (I only did 3 attractions). DO NOT COME HERE. I had to wait a whole hour for the hayride. When I got to the front of the line, the employees filled up THREE WAGONS with ONLY VIP ticket holders. The tractors would come by every 7-10 min so we waited for 30 min just at the front of the line! Everyone in line was pissed! How can you fill 3 hayrides with only VIP people? There were hundreds of regular ticket holders in line vs way fewer VIP. Once we got on, the actors did a bad job, face makeup was not impressive, hardly any costumes, and a lot of actors were wearing regular clothes with a little bit of black paint and blood on their face. So stupid. We waited 25 min for the maze and there were only 15 people in line. The maze was probably the best attraction that I did and the most scary/enjoyable. Last was the zombie paint ball. We waited in the freezing cold for again, A WHOLE HOUR. THERE WERE A TOTAL OF 20 PEOPLE IN LINE FOR THIS. Not to mention, managers were asking us every 2 seconds what attractions we had left to do and were rushing everybody. I was so eager to go home at that point. I was cold, wet and tired and these people would not let anyone in the damn zombie attraction. Some terrible management considering they were rushing us but not letting anyone into the attraction for an hour. We finally did the paintball and it sucked. The actors were visibly tired and were completely slacking off. I paid $40 for this haunted house, I don’t care if it’s the end of the night, EVERY GUEST DESERVES THE SAME QUALITY “SCARINESS” AND ENTHUSIASM FROM THE ACTORS WHETHER THEY COME EARLY OR LATE. Valley of Fear is a COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY! Do not come here it freaking sucks. Go to terror behind the walls for a high quality haunted attraction.
