Ngaruawahia Band Rotunda

- Tags: Park, Family And Kids, Nature
The Ngaruawahia Band Rotunda stands on the meeting spot of Waikato and Waipa River and overlooks the vast green space where a plethora of ducks roam about freely. The rotunda depicts the civic identity and prosperity of Paeroa during the early 1900s while also giving a prominent landscaping feature to the green park. The leisurely activities of the park gain a new opportunity with the Ngaruawahia Band Rotunda as it is used for meeting, civic reception, public ceremony and commemoration, and musical or cultural shows. The rotunda is also the spot where the Anzac Day Celebrations take place. The Primrose Hill, Exotic Trees, George Bradford Memorial, and the Cenotaph adds to the beauty of the rotunda.

Excellent for my school group to learn some local history.
Are you go here to go jet skiing it's easy to launch the boat and easy to get out of and a place to park up right next to the river
Beautiful sight to be held
Always an awesome place to visit. The best playground around on hot days.
A quiet, scenic spot with history. Junction of the Waikato and Waipa rivers, Often a camper van or two overnighting there. Toilets and children's play area. Well maintained and clean.
