Glengate Hotel, Niagara Falls Reviews
Nice location. 15 minutes walk to the fall. Free parking. Nice free breakfast. However, one of the lamps in our room was not working so the room was dark. Also, restroom light and fan are controlled by a single switch, so they need to be on or off at the same time. Fan is super loud, and is disturbing if more than one person lives in the room, one is sleeping, and one needs to use the restroom.
Hotel is fine, and the service is efficient and friendly. It's clean, and cost effective. It's a decent 3-star hotel.
It was one of the cheapest hotels when I went during the long weekend. Great customer service, we arrived a bit agter midnight even though online said check in ended at 11pm, they even tried to ffer us a jacuzzi room but we declined because we wanted 2 queen beds. The room had some of tallest ceilings I had ever seen and the room was clean and free parking is also a great thing. The free breakfast was also a nice bonus and it included cereal, coffee, toast, muffins and a waffle maker. Would recommend if you are looking at a cheap place to stay and is about a 15 minute walk to the casino niagara.
Although it was inexpensive to stay here, it wasn't worth it. When you first walk in the lobby smells like moth balls, There spiders in every corner of the room, the toilet wouldnt flush properly, there was a TV but no cable and the bed were extremely uncomfortable leaving you in pain the next morning.
Room is dark. Very hard to regulate temperature. Bathroom fan does not work. Should have more than one garbage can and should have Kleenex in the room. Bed is hard. Duvet bunches up in its cover. T.V. and cable provider is horrible.
