Glengate Hotel, Niagara Falls Reviews - Write a Review

  • My husband and I stayed here the first Saturday in November. I'm giving this hotel three stars because the staff made our stay enjoyable and because I see potential. If they just fix a few things up, give the room more lighting, and keep the place a bit cleaner it will be a great hotel. Pros: -Staff was very friendly to us. We enjoyed talking to the gentleman on the night shift at the front desk. -The price was good -Free breakfast -Microwave outside of the cafeteria -Comfortable, clean beds -Refrigerator -Iron and ironing board -Nice, sturdy furniture -No bugs! :) -Nice foyer to sit and talk w/tv -Guest computer -Ice machine Cons: -Dirty. Walls had gunk on them and the floors weren't clean. -Drapes smelled like mildew. -Appliances were not kept up -TV and remote both didn't work properly, freezer needed defrosting, and the bathtub was dirty and looked out dated. -Towels were stiff and scratchy -Breakfast was all grain (breads, muffin, cereal) no yogurt, eggs, or potatoes. (Which is fine for some, but not me) I hope y'all find this review helpful.

  • Spent the weekend at the glengate hotel. The staff did everything to make you feel comfortable. Our bed was very comfortable. Room was clean. Prices were very reasonable for a week end. Much cheaper for the week days thou. All in all a good weekend at this centrally located hotel. Thanks staff

  • Good for the price. :) If you're okay with a lot of walking then it's technically walking distance from everything fun! We went while it was cold in November so walking was no problem, just wear sneakers.

  • My room seemed newly renovated. There were 4 of us staying, and the room was rather spacious and accommodated us very well. Bathroom was large and newly renovated. Sink for the bathroom was outside so that while one was showering, another could brush teeth/do makeup. Great experience, would go back again. Only reason for 4/5 is because it felt more motel-like and had fee activities on site.

  • My family and I stayed here for three nights and we enjoyed our stay here. The room was large and clean with moderately comfortable beds. The location was quiet and easy to walk to the WEGO stop to take you to our destinations in the Niagara falls area. Upon arriving to the hotel we encountered a very nice and polite gentleman who was very helpful and offered us very helpful tips to make our stay easier in the city. We would stay here again if we chose to stay in Niagara Falls again.
