Milestones On The Falls, Niagara Falls Reviews

  • Fairly decent food, great service, and a very great ambiance that makes you feel like you’re in a higher-class restaurant. One of the things that make this restaurant elegant, was the view. The view of the restaurant from where I sit was lovely, I could see the Niagara Falls clearly, but that’s not the only good thing about this restaurant, their food was great as well. For my starter I picked a French Onion soup. The French Onion soup was presented in a very good looking way even though it’s a very unattractive soup. And the taste was great as well, it was a little warmer than I would’ve liked but that’s not a major complaint. Now, let’s get into the main food, for my main food I had a California Burger. I was a little hesitant to order the California Burger, but I’ve got to say, it was definitely worth it. The thing I like the most about the California burger was that I didn’t just taste the patty, the taste of the avocado, the secret sauce and the patty melted in my mouth as I was eating their crispy fries. Their fries were sure as heck flavourful, but when I got to the bottom of my fry tray, all my fries were short and some were cut in cube slices which was a little weird in my opinion but everything else was great! Finally, I would recommend this place to anyone who’s gonna celebrate something like birthdays or New Years since the price is a little higher than most restaurants, what a lovely place!

  • Typical milestones, nothing special. If you have ALLERGIES to anything don’t bother going there. They don’t go the extra mile to make anything to accommodate. They just say everything is cross contaminated just to cover themselves. Not even a manager came out to speak to us. Any other restaurant we’ve been too anytime there is an allergy the manage comes out and makes sure that we will have a great and safe evening. This location can use some pointers.

  • If going with an ultimate dining card, know that only lunch or dinner can count. We went for brunch, through the milestone entrance, past the ultimate dining card display, had an amazing meal, all assuming we'd be able to cover part of it with the gift card. The bill came and we learned that brunch is strictly through the Marriott cafe, not at all affiliated with Milestones. So, the food was great, but way out of budget.

  • This milestones has the same lunch/dinner menus as other milestones but they also serve breakfast as they are affiliated with Marriott on the Falls. For the all you can eat breakfast, they served hot breakfast and cereal, patries and toasts/bagels. You can also order an omelette if you get the breakfast buffet, which is cooked to perfection in my opinion.

  • Went here for New Year's Eve as a party of 6. We were forced to only order their NYE special 3 course meal for $70+HST per person. Although, we preferred their normal menu, we accepted the 3 course meal. We all ordered the prime rib MEDIUM RARE. However, we all received a blue rare/rare prime rib. We wanted to ask the server to re-do our order but for some reason, she disappeared for 20 minutes. We were hungry and needed to leave in an hour so we decided just to eat this sorry excuse of food. We then see our server and tell her that our food was barely edible. She then stated that she knew it wasn't medium rare. She said that we should've told her to exchange it (how can we tell someone that just disappears on us for 20 minutes?). Also, why are you serving us something that YOU know doesn't meet quality expectations??? Worst NYE meal I have ever had and a waste of $600. Will not be going to a Milestones again or supporting Cara's chain of operations.
