  • Extremely hot inside. Pop machine didn't work properly. Staff not very friendly. Lids for pop had 2 crushed lids left. Asked if there was more and was told those were fine.

  • Its a little silly people still think that coupons are offered at Clifton Hill locations for franchised restaurants, just be happy this place doesn't do tourist taxes like the rest of them. I can say that your sandwich gets less condiments than other locations, however I'm not sure how, as it's a standard amount across all Subway locations. It's a shame if employees are being trained to put less, because of cheap owners. Hopefully that isn't the case. Overall a great place if you work on the hill, or want to take a bit of a walk to get food at a fair price.

  • The place was pretty bare minimum. The employees were a level below okay. The selection was nice though and it seemed clean.

  • Poor Service - Subway is pretty generic so I pretty much knew what to expect. I ordered a turkey sub and when it came to adding veg I was appalled. Im assuming three thin cucumber slices per 6 inch is the norm which I find cheap but the worse thing was the person behind the counter given me 2 spinach leaves!! Yes, only 2. I asked for lettuce, cucumber and spinach and couldn't believe he purposely picked up 2 spinach leaves for my sub and carefully placed it on top. They only had 2 types of bread left and a few cookies. I noticed they had a Raspberry cheesecake one which was nice but I couldn't get any more as they were out of cookies except for Macadamia ones. There is a bar but no seats. They could do with a few stools at least and considering it wasn't busy at all I'm wondering where the stock of bread and cookies were. I went in around 4pm. All in all, I feel for the price they charge they should give you more filling for your money in general but this particular episode just left me astounded.

  • Good selection of toppings as well as a hot soup or coffee.
