Aquarium of Niagara is one of the best places to visit with kids in the Niagara Falls region. This non-profit aquarium was established in 1965 and is now home to over 1,500 aquatic animals. These include sharks, freshwater turtles, Humboldt penguins, California sea lions, sea horses, sturgeon, and a variety of other fish. The best part of this place is you can book an encounter with harbor seals or penguins at a reasonable price. The place is quite small, and you can explore it at your own pace.
