I've truly enjoyed my stay at Le Negresco Hotel. The history of the hotel is amazing! I've enjoyed visiting the different floors looking at the over 6000-piece art collection. The restaurants are delicious and the service from the staff is first class. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable and the quick access to the beach (it's across the street guys!) was just another plus!! I would definitely recommend Le Negresco to anyone visiting Nice!!
This is a unique hotel. It has a large collection of high quality art works throughout the rooms, hallways and public areas on all floors of the hotel. Each room is unique decorated with a mix of antique furniture and modern facilities. Bathrooms are large and stylish. It is expensive - a drink in the bar costs 25 Euros and dinner in the 2 star restaurant is 230 each.
We enjoyed our visit to Le Negresco Hotel. When in Nice, you should put this on your list and enjoy a drink, coffee or a meal on the terrace or inside the iconic hotel. It's an experience!
Great hotel. The place is immaculately well kept and the staff was extremely accommodating. The bar was great and it is close to everything. It is worth the money to stay once. However, some prices for things, like items in the mini bar, are so rediculous it is offensive. Yes, I can afford the hotel. No, I'm not so stupid to pay $22 US for one tiny bottle of vodka. Also to note, there is NO PARKING. If you have a car you can park in the Mattese museum structure next door for 24 euro a day.
Ostentatious hotel, bar and restaurant. A local institution. It was the project of an immigrant who saw it built, only to be turned into hospital during the war before it finally was the intended hotel after his death. We went to the bar for pre-dinner drinks as recommended by locals. The cocktails are fantastic but pricey (€20-25) - you are definitely paying for the setting too which had fantastic live music (most Thursdays). The staff were great and the nibbles/snacks were a really nice touch.
