Kegon Falls - Review
Another gem of Japan, the Kegoon falls is ranked as one of the country’s best waterfalls. Located at the Lake Chuzenji, these falls are a result of rerouted lava that forms the Daiya River. Cascading from a height of 318 feet, the Kegon Falls, are encircled by twelve more tiny waterfalls that squirt from the cracks of adjoining mountains.
People from all over Japan, come to admire these falls, especially in the months of fall, thus even causing traffic jams on routes to the falls.

Kegon Falls, Nikko Reviews
Loved this place. Really worth going. The 97m fall is impressive and makes a great photo shoot opportunity. Very easy to get to from the bus station and the lift is also very convenient. I’d be back!
A lovely area of Nikko. I've visited in summer and winter and it's beautiful all year round due to how the seasons change what you can see. Dragonflies dance around during warmer/hotter weather which are great for photos and if you're lucky you'll see a family if monkey's nearby too. There are many cafe's, restaurants, hotel's and souvenir shops too, it's well worth checking out but one day might not feel long enough despite it being a smallish area.
Autumn in Japan In our fall Japan trip, Autumn in Japan, you’ll experience the best of Japan – both on and off the beaten path – with a relaxing yet action-packed itinerary. Autumn in Japan is a colorful 9-day journey beginning in Tokyo, including the ancient capital Kyoto and also featuring two nights at a luxurious hot spring spa in the mountains of the Japan Alps. Due to Japan’s popularity, particularly in autumn, pricing and availability are highly subject to change. Pleas to inquire about your ideal dates.
This is a must visit in Nikko. One of the most beautiful waterfalls. You can take a elevator to reach the bottom of the fall. The road up the falls is very scenic too.
Stunning view. But the drive to get there was even better! Would recommend to eat the grilled fish and vegetable soup close to the bill counter. Excellent!
