Shin-kyo, Nikko Reviews
Natural, Fresh, Beautiful historical bridge. Water in river is blue and super clear. Its surrounded by many trees with 3 monkeys are playing together. Very wonderfully. I and friends were really enjoy and happy to visit here.
Picturesque. I didn't feel the need cross the bridge even if it was free, let alone for a fee. Nice mist above the river under the bridge. I definitely was lucky to actually take bus up to the temples and later just stroll down beside the bridge looking at it from different points on my way to the Nikko JR station. Instead of walking up.
Nice! I thought, one more red bridge... You see a lot of them in Japan. But somehow its absolutely magical. Loved it!
Cute bridge but one end is closed off. Kind of defeats the purpose of a bridge when you can't exit the other end. 4 stars
Ever felt like throwing a paper aeroplane into the river but thought yourself too old to do in public? Try it here when you can buy a charm shaped like a paper aeroplane, write your wishes and throw in upstream! Jokes aside, its a very nice looking bridge although it may not be worth it to go onto it (300 yen). For those collectors of calligraphy stamps, this bridge/shrine does offer one.
