The bridge itself is nothing special, but the river is gorgeous. The water rushing below is unbelievably clear like glass with a blue tint. But it's an easy tourist spot to check off your list since it's on the way up to the famous shrines. There was so much traffic from the train station up to the bridge that it was faster to got off the bus & walk up the street to the bridge. A lot of people are going now to see the fall leaves so don't bother with the bus, just walk.
Why anyone would pay 300 yen to walk on a bridge is beyond me. This sacred bridge is also right at the roadside. Well, different strokes for different folks. Take a quick look or picture and move along, now.
Natural, Fresh, Beautiful historical bridge. Water in river is blue and super clear. Its surrounded by many trees with 3 monkeys are playing together. Very wonderfully. I and friends were really enjoy and happy to visit here.
Picturesque. I didn't feel the need cross the bridge even if it was free, let alone for a fee. Nice mist above the river under the bridge. I definitely was lucky to actually take bus up to the temples and later just stroll down beside the bridge looking at it from different points on my way to the Nikko JR station. Instead of walking up.
Nice view. I was there early autumn this year when the color started to change. Sadly, I couldnt really enjoy my time there since there is a wedding shoot at the bridge and tourist should steered clear before they take the shots
