Wondering what a fan-shaped waterfall, ironically in Japan would look like? The Yutaki Waterfall will enlighten you!
As you encroach these dynamic falls, you can hear roaring sound of the falls and winds, luring you to come close and get a glimpse of these gigantic falls! Admire the falls in all their might from the observatory deck., provided for the same. The falls plunge from a height of 70 meters and are formed over the rock walls of lava that oozed through Mt. Mitake further creating the Lake Yunoko.
Depicting its name from its source; Yutaki means hot water falls in Japanese. Thus, this one amazing waterfall that has mild-temperatures or lukewarm water! Indeed, this is one of Japan’s most noteworthy waterfalls.

Yudaki Falls, Nikko Reviews
This place is amazing, completely worth the hike to get there - although you can also take a bus there from Nikko JR station. The scenery is beautiful, and there's outdoor seating available to eat your own food or get a bite from the take away shops selling traditional Japanese food.
Such an amazing place. We hiked up from ryuzu falls, walking along the streams and senjogahara marshlands. Took us 2&1/3 hrs with kids, on a cold, nearly snowing weather. But worth the walk, specially seeng the mighty falls while eating the grilled ayu fish and the rice balls wiith yuzu-soysauce from the shop beside it..
It's stunning! We walked from the head to the foot of the falls, getting glimpses on our way. And when we reached the deck at the bottom, it was really impressive with all the water gushing down - all the more impressive because you're so close to the waterfall itself. It's well worth a visit even if you've already seen the more famous Kegon falls.
Good to be here in winter. I really enjoy the view!
Nice accessible waterfall. Has a convenience store and a small restaurant. Tables and benches for picnicking.
