This is an ancient prayer place that is located about 12 miles to the east of Ningbo. It is the only remaining temple named after the name of the Indian King- Asoka. The temple is built at the foot of the Luhua Peak of the Taibai Mountains. These are one of the most important Buddhist Mountains in China. This place is very calm and scenic. It provides you with the serenity that you need for some silent contemplation. There are various relics stored inside the temple. Outside, there are gardens and enjoyable scenic spots.
