Filled with peaks and valleys the Lianghuang Mountains has a mysterious vibe to it as numerous poets throughout the ages have adorned it with their words of wisdom. It has been one of the most famous mountains in the Yangtze River Delta since the Song Dynasty. There are four highlights or more commonly known as four wonders in the mountain namely:

• The first wonder is a stone on which the characters of ‘Amita-Buddha’ are inscribed.
• The second wonder are the square bamboo and purple bamboo grown here every year which are splendour to watch.
• The third wonder is a natural rock formation known as ‘the tower of spirit’ which resemble the shape of a human head and chest.
• The fourth wonder is the Lianghunag Street which has about 1/3rd of the world’s surnames and is actually a small village.

• You may first take an express coach at the Ningbo South Coach to Ninghai and then transfer the bus at the Ninghai west station to get to the Lianghuang Mountain.
