This is a huge beach that is surrounded by mountains. There are many beaches alongside the Xiangshan coast, but the Songlan beach is the first scenic marine area to be converted into a provincial seaside resort. The sunlight makes the water sparkle and hence the beach is also called the Golden Beach. A coastal road has been nuit along the beach that connects it to the Baisha Bay beach and Zhao Wuniang Temple.
