This is the biggest town square in the Zhejiang Province. It’s located right at the centre of the Ningbo city. It covers an area of 200,000 square metres. The square is designed by architect Qingyun Ma. The construction was completed in the year 2002. 22 European styled building surround the square. In the year 2003,it won an award for being the best public art construction. The square has 300 shops classified into different zones- retail, electronics, entertainment, hotels and restaurants.
