The Bao Bolong Wetland Reserve is a large wetland reserve situated on the bank of Bao Bolon Gambia River and is full of salty marsh and famous for a great opportunity of bird watching. As the three different environments can be found here, you can see abundant species of trees, birds, reptiles, mammals, and birds as well as other animals. You will see around 268 species of specific bird families including local and migratory birds like ducks, pelicans, Black-tailed Godwit etc. You will find hippos, deer, and hyenas also in Bao Bolong Wetland Reserve.
