Bahla Fort, Nizwa Reviews
A very beautiful fort which is not very crowded. You get to see a very good view of the city from the top. Nice place to visit.
This fort is larger and even more impressive than the one in Nizwa. Sadly, it's a bit off the beaten track so I think many people will skip it. Nevertheless I enjoyed walking around and really (really) getting lost in the maze of rooms and stair cases. Definitely worth it if you can spare an extra few hours while in the area. The bathrooms are also VERY clean and modern.
Like others have mentioned, the fort itself is huge and very impressive. The downside is you have absolutely no clue what it is or why/how it was used. It's completely empty with no signs or any guides as to what you are looking at. We ended up going home and googling it afterwards. It's only 1/2 rial entrance fee which is affordable.
A great fort with so many rooms and structure. It truly worth a visit. This is popular among tourists but the route is only single lane.
Good fort and take 1 hour to see all inside the fort. There is no sign board or guide as like in niswa fort.
