Peregian Beach is located on the Sunshine Coast and is a small seaside town. During World War II, the beach was used for artillery training and even now artillery shells and some unexploded ordnance are discovered on land. Tourists enjoy the village style shopping boundaries along with a Surf Club, Bowls Club, etc. There is a local skate park which is pretty popular too, but risky during wet season. Restaurants, medical shops, etc. have been recently upgraded here.
