If you are a shopaholic and fancy collecting souvenirs, then you should definitely check out barefoot landing. This river-side shopping complex is filled with national retail shops and unique boutiques. The shops offer trendy clothing, accessories and fashion materials. There is a plethora of restaurants and shacks that offer mouth-watering items like ice-cream, candy, pretzel, pastries, burgers, pasta, pizza, fries, seafood, BBQ and the list go on. The Alabama Theatre and House of Blues are there to entertain with live music. The other attractions include 7D cinema, Marina, Barefoot Princess Riverboat, Carousel, Old Tyme Portraits, Salt Shaker Boat Tours and of course the wildlife conservation sectors. The T.I.G.E.R.S and Alligator Adventures are some of them. With the unique bridge ways to hover from one shop to another and sometimes taking a closer look at the alligators crossing the stream, the place is unique in its own way.

Barefoot Landing Reviews & Ratings

  • This outdoor shopping mall, built out over a lake, is a fantastic place to relax and escape the buzz of the town for part of the day. All different types of restaurants and shops are present, you're sure to find something you like. There are also several live music venues within the complex, and more of everything is being added for next year.

  • Very nice place. Something for everyone in your family. A couple ponds or at least one split up with a nice boardwalk type walking bridge with the water on both sides. Worth checking out... We went to Wild Wings for the Browns Backer game viewing....A whole lot of Cleveland Browns fans down

  • This was a lovely place to walk around. Look online ahead of time because there are so many cool places to check out like House of Blues and great shopping. Bonus is you can drive up to each area and park then move on if you like, so you do not have to walk far. There is a boardwalk in the center with a water feature and turtles. Loved this place!!!

  • I went with my wife, our son and daughter and their spouses and everyone had plenty of room. The bedrooms were very nice and that beds were very comfortable. Each bedroom had its own bathroom. The kitchen was a good size and the living room had enough seating for all. Our view was over the huge pool. The pool was nice although it was only 3 to 4 ft deep. They are very strict about the pool area. Not floats or flying objects allowed. We had a great view of the fireworks show over barefoot landing on Monday night. We would stay again.

  • Nice plaza with mostly kitschy souvenirs in this tourist trap town. Unique amongst the offerings was the store Purpleologist. For a change, nothing shaped like starfish or any notation of being at the beach, just a good variety of ladies clothing, shoes, jewelry, and accessories, all in one color - PURPLE! BEAUTIFUL, GLORIOUS PURPLE! Such a unique store and unique idea! Couldn't stop looking at the beautiful decor of the store.
