Mauch Chunk Lake Park Reviews & Ratings

  • Cabins do not have an indoor heat source, but clean. Bathrooms very clean. Campsites a little close together but location is BEAUTIFUL! Very peaceful with nice hikes and activities.

  • I love this place. I prefer to come here than any other places in the Poconos. Make sure you bring cash. It's $5/child and $7/adult but weekends it's $7/child and $10/adult. The downtown area is my fave.

  • The First Time There And It Was Nice. The Weather Was Great. Admissions Is $10 Per Person, Not Per Vehicle. Parking Is Located Near The Lake, So Not Much Walking To Do, That's Great! They Sell Food There At Reasonable Prices. I Bought Nachos With Cheese And Chili. That Was Worth The Calories. Is A Great Place For A Picnic.

  • Off season when I was there so no crowds. Very clean. Nice restroom by where the swimming area is. Small park for kids was also clean. Good spot to relax!

  • Went kayaking in the morning. Water is very clear and many areas you can see to the bottom with the exception of the middle of lake. Then went to the beach to swim and very surprised at how nice the floor of the beach water was very sandy and very few rocks. Definitely will be back hopefully for a camping weekend this year!
