Althorp Estate, Northampton Reviews
Relaxing afternoon at Althorp House, enjoying the beautiful grounds on entering the Estate by foot. Friendly staff from the onset, greeted & welcomed by Andy at The entrance gate. All the staff were welcoming & knowledgeable of the Estate. The tour of Althorp House was amazing viewing the numerous rooms with the paintings and sculptures. A truly homely feel within. The Round Oval with the dedication to Princess Diana was extremely peaceful. Upon my departure from the Estate I was kindly offered a lift back to the main carpark from a member of staff called Andy, which was a very nice gesture.
Beautiful house and grounds. Lots of paintings and guides to tell you about the different rooms. Nice tea room with outside seating. Picnic area. Good walk from ticket office unless you are visiting by coach
Lovely afternoon out to a fascinating country house with excellent art work. Extensive grounds with a reasonably priced cafe. Ideal summer day out made even better by the knowledgeable guides. Excellent value.
Had a wonderful afternoon, house and grounds fantastic. Diana's resting place was so peaceful and surreal, felt very welcome, especially Andy at the garehouse, stall were very knowledgeable and helpful. Full marks to all.
Excellent property. Friendly, helpful staff. Accessible friendly, great cafe. Top scores all round.
