One of the country houses and estates of Northamptonshire, England, Cottesbrooke Hall and the Cottesbrooke estate is a Grade I listed country house and estate. The hall boasts its Queen Anne architecture with large parklands that offer wide views across the countryside. The hall is built in brick with ashlar dressings and lead and has slate roofs with a 7-window frontage. Built by architect Sir John Langham, the construction of this house began in 1702. The house won the Historic Houses Association/Christie's 'Garden of the Year' Award in 2000 thanks to its fine furniture, decoration, grounds and gardens. While the house itself is more than 300 years old, the gardens surrounding it were entirely made in the 20th century. Designed by architect Robert Weir Schultz, these gardens have many pools, pergolas, paved terraces, statues, trees, flowers, shrubs and more.
