This well-paved walking path runs over 4 miles along the Tuscaloosa River and takes you through wooden bridges, through dense trees, and across water. The paved path is ideal for runners as well as for bikers. You will find plenty of benches, picnic tables, hammock-friendly trees, and fenced playgrounds along the Tuscaloosa Riverwalk. Tuscaloosa River Walk Reviews & Ratings
Great paved walking paths with plenty of shade to help beat the heat. We walked our dog and there were just a few other pups on the path. There are several metal art pieces that are part of the 'Monster Takeover' well placed throughout.
I love to visit Riverwalk. The trail is at least two miles long I'm sure it's longer than that if you keep going. I always feel safe no matter what time. Nice and lit up at night. There is a little playground and stuff for kids. Great little place to chill and get exercise.
It's a really great place to go on a walk. Definitely one of the more popular places though so if that's not your scene then I'd go somewhere else. There are about 3 miles of concrete trails that are perfect for walking.
We love taking walks out here with our kids. I wish they'd incorporate possibly a larger playground on the trail the current one can really only accommodate a few kids and makes it hard for more than one family to use the area with tripping over each other.
It's a wonderful place! It's very family friendly & offers a lovely experience!
