  • Excellent range of beers, both Castle Rock (local) and a regularly updated list of international imported beers on draft. Always something to suit all tastes. Even more choice with the bottled beers, literally hundreds of international beers to choose from. Good hearty pub food, very tasty, good portions. Lovely staff who will always be willing to help you choose/sample several beers.

  • Heard great things about the Canalhouse, but it was a but disappointing to be honest. A very standard bar in town. Staff are friendly enough, but other than the lovely canal boats inside the building it has little atmosphere and fairly expensive beer.

  • Great pub, with a great selection of drinks. A footy fan favourite.

  • Always a good atmosphere and selection of ales. Great place to visit.

  • Excellent range of beers on offer, a little pricey but good location and especially nice in the summer.
