Center Parcs Sherwood Forest Guest Services - Review
This beautiful estate in the middle of the forest is a quiet, serene and enjoyable place. The rooms are wonderful with living room and even a small kitchen area. The staffs do their best to make you feel at home. There are various activities for both kids and adults. The kids can go for the Off-road Exploring in the miniature 4 wheelers or try the mini-trek. The Pottery Painting studio and the Watersports Lake are for the adults’ recreation. You can hire a bike and go for cycling, or take a walk through the forest trail that will definitely soothe your mind. The Ariel Trekking is recommended for those who want some thrilling experience. The place will give you the perfect wilderness feeling you want in the forest. Hot Tubs and a Subtropical Swimming area are there for you to take a dip. The spa with the wooden interior overlooking the forest is like a dream!

Had a really nice weekend here. We had a family gathering for my Birthday, and it worked out perfectly. We had a large villa with 3 separate en suite bedrooms. Located in the lovely forest with wildlife all around. Really nicely decorated and well equipped, with a very nice outdoor BBQ. Loads of activities to do and we were on the go all day. Lots of selections for eating out, all were very good. As you are captive in the resort, everything is very pricey, but for a few days it’s ok.
Stayed in Sherwood Forest Centre Parcs for 4 nights with our 1 year old and 3 year old daughter. Had a lovely time. It only rained one afternoon. Enjoyed lots of activities. Ate at Hucks which was delicious. All the restaurants really cater for kids with free baby food and colouring. The water park was great, clean and lots of fun. Both girls enjoyed the different slides. We did have to speak to guest services about the lodge not smelling very nice, they came and washed the sofa covers and removed the rug, they were all very friendly and helpful and it helped the smell lots. Apart from that the lodge was very clean. Would highly recommend for families with young kids.
What can I say this was a fantastic visit as always... We upgraded from the basic villa this time... We had a sauna, maid service etc we were unsure if it was worth upgrading but now we wouldn't go back to a basic villa... We are now considering further upgrade to the villa with a hot tub... We were kicking ourselves this time thinking we should have.... Just to qualify we are a blended family with four children between us 19, 17, 15 and 12 years old....
Comfortable accommodation, well equipped. Overall though a bit shabby with age. Good facilities. Food shop has good range of foods not too expensive. Biggest problem is poor signage. Constantly getting lost! Staff brilliant, consistently helpful. Nature house and staff the very best.
My 5 year old son and I had a lovely week here. We took our bikes and found there were very few hills he couldn't get past. The pool is nice but there is construction work going on. They've done a really good job of keeping it out of sight. However if the pool is your main reason for going maybe wait for next summer when the expansion and update is complete.
