The Nottingham Castle is a commendable structure that belongs to the 17th century. The castle stands tall on the site of the original Medieval Castle. The castle has a turbulent history in relevance to kings and conquerors. The castle today is home to a Museum & Art Gallery that possesses the best regional, national and international art and exhibition galleries. Permanent exhibitions have showcase silverware, glass, costume and textiles, and an insight into Nottingham's history for their display.

Nottingham Castle Reviews & Ratings
If you like history and old buildings, you're going to love walking around here. Not much of the original castle is left that "Robin Hood" would have recognised, but it's still a nice place to visit. Ralph.
It's a good place for a short visit. The castle is amazing and the museum with its collection even more so. The price of the ticket is reasonable but you may get some discounts. The views from the castle are amazing. This allows you to understand why they built the castle there. The price for the caves is a bit disappointing. Should be half the price at most. The caves are great, and the stories told by the guide amazing, but you have already paid for the entrance and this again? That much? Inside the castle you can get something to eat or drink. You've got toilets everywhere. Everything is prepared nicely and conveniently. You can also get some really nice souvenirs.
Castle is under restoration but it is a vibrant place to be. Will definitely be a place to visit when it re-opens in 2020-21
The castle looked like a nice attraction but unfortunate it was closed for refurbishment. We saw the Robin Hood statue and had a nice walk around the outside of the castle. The grounds look nice and medieval with what looked like dungeons.
The castle was closed, but the outside of it looked amazing. Maybe we will have better luck next time !
