When you are in Milan, you must visit Rotonda di Via Besana. This tourist spot consists of a church and its surrounding gardens. The whole complex is walled with multiple columns. The central church has a Greek cross and the design of the building resembles a cross too. The bell on top of the church has a characteristic din. It was built with the intention of functioning as a cemetery and the decorative patterns of small skulls on the columns depicts its purpose. The arches that stand on the columns are made of brick and lend an archaic yet classic look to the building. The gardens at Rotonda di Via Besana are beautifully landscaped and have a carpet of lush green grass lined with small shrubs and bushes.

Lovely space for lunch or coffee with and without children/ babies. Highly recommend it as it’s a quiet and peaceful spot with an amazing children’s bookshop. Food is just ok but on the pricey side
Nice place, unfortunately not taken care of
very peaceful place near the tribunal where relax in the garden or have a beers or something to eat in the nice bar (also available seats outdoor, they will charge you the service at the table and there is no aperitif). inside the church (that is not celebrate the office anymore) there is also a museum for children.
A secret gem in the center of Milan. Perfect to have a walk or take a break at the shadow, and relax forgetting how busy this city can be. Parties during summer, Children's Museum all year round, bistrot service.
Nice place to be outside with your friends and enjoy a coffee or just share some stories on the grass!
