This museum was built in 2008 and has become an important centre of art in the country and in the international circuit. It has the largest private collection of modern art in Southeast Europe with strong emphasis on art forms like Surrealism, Viennese activism, Constructivism and Dada. Muzej Macura Contemporary Art Museum has painting and sculptures on display, along with original documentation in the form of letters and photographs. It is located right next to River Danube and offers excellent views of the river.
