Manastir Sopocani - Review
This twelfth-century monastery was declared as the world heritage site in the 1970s. This ancient establishment was left unattended after the seventeenth century and after weathering many storms, it almost deteriorated. But, it was refurbished in the twentieth century and is home to many monks today. It is situated away from the city and is the perfect place to find peace. Visit this monastery and spend hours sitting quietly in the tranquil atmosphere.

Manastir Sopocani, Novi Pazar Reviews
A fantastic site and a beautiful monastery. A must visit for those interested in the Italian Renaissance precursors in the Balkans.
Nothing special here... One more monastery for some more pictures... Not worth the distance
I have been there in 2008. It is not easy to find it, but I reccomend everybody who like fresco painting to visit Sopocany Monastery.
Extremely peaceful and quiet in winter, best place to feel yourself and listen to snow falling down your skin
A beautiful XIII century monastery with famous frescoes.
