Also known as Dunavski Park, it’s the most beautiful park in Novi Sad. With about 250 species of plants and a sprawling area of 33,000sqmt the park is an abode of greenery. It’s adorned with ponds and little islets with lots of fishes and swans, walkways decorated with English Oak and other trees like Japanese quince, white and red cornel, juniper and various other species. The park is also the favourite destination for cultural fairs and has a lot of busts and statues of famous Serbian personalities scattered all over. Also in this park is the statue of Djura Jaksic a famous writer and painter. There’s an urban legend that if you sit in his lap and whisper your wish in his ear, it will come true. A serene and tranquil atmosphere amidst the bustling city, from the young to old everyone visits the park to imbibe its beauty.

  • Nice place with lots of benches. In winter time there is ice-skating rink placed in whole park. Has a small children playground.

  • Good place to rest and enjoy specially during spring or autumn. Once it was beautifull park with swans, trees and playground and now it is just shadow of past

  • By day a magical place, by nigh a romantic place, especially in the winter when there are decorations

  • maybe the prettiest park i’ve had the pleasure of visiting throughout Serbia. especially beautiful in early Autumn, oranges and browns peeking through the greenery. enchanting!

  • Absolutely beautiful nature, a lot of benches to sit and relax, in the winter there is an ice rink when you can skate, its decorated with christmas lights so it looks absolutley amazing. You can also buy popcorn, pacakes, tiny donuts, "pljeskavice" if you get hungry. Also amazing just for like a walk or something to take your mind off, really beautiful . Amazing place i recommend to visit with family or alone you will not regret it .
