Perhaps one of the oldest streets in Novi Sad, the Dunavska street is a must visit for all the shopaholics. This colourful street is lined with many shops and restaurants. Flowers, handicrafts, clothes, accessories you name it, they have it. The street, is also lined with one floored houses on either sides which adds a distinct charm to it. The street culminates at the Danube Park. Like the Dunavska, Zmaj Jovina Street is also famous for shopping and both of them start at the intersection near Bishops palace. One runs south west while the other runs south east towards the river. Named after the famous children’s poet, Jovan Jovanovic Zmaj it was once the ‘Main’ street in Serbia. The streets radiate such a friendly atmosphere, it’s a perfect place for a leisurely stroll.
